Government Council to take incentive measures to spur skilled labour activity in Algerian big South

The council of government headed by Prime Minister Ahmed Ouyahia, meeting Tuesday in Algiers, is slated to take a string of incentive measures likely to shore up and encourage skilled labour activity in Algeria's big South.

  •  Well-informed sources told “Echorouk” that various incentive measures would be applied by the government as from early January 2011 for the benefit of all skilled workers or firms willing to follow on a permanent basis a labour activity in the southern areas of the country.

  •
  •
  • The same sources added that the latter willing to settle in the south would also benefit from a 50% tax rebate over a five-year period starting from the beginning of January 2011.

  •
  •
  • Under the government’s incentive program geared for the development of labour activity in the southern part of the country, the future recipients will also be provided with accommodation on the spot endowed with all the amenities in order to upgrade their living and working conditions there.
