On this occasion, the minister seized the opportunity to call on the professionals in the sector to take their responsibilities and stop asking the government to intervene in the regulation of their sector of activity, because this task has to be done by them as everywhere in the world, mentioning that the government has moved to another strategy of subsidiary which gives the priority to the production in order to reduce the bill of importations.

In Monday’s resolutions, both the professionals in the agriculture sector and their counterparts in the sector of industry, agreed upon the importance to reactivate the offices to regulate the sector notably, cereals, potato, tomato, meat, oil, milk and dates and create a special bank to finance agriculture as well as move to gradual loosing of prices to avoid contraband and waste.
