GSPC: “Partisans of Abou El-Abbès eager to adhere to national reconciliation charter

Convergent sources told the newspaper “Echorouk” that Abou El-Abbès, a close collaborator of the former chieftain of the 9th region, linked to the Salafist Group for Preaching and Combat (GSPC) had decided to adhere to the national reconciliation charter after giving himself up to the security services bringing with him precious information. 

• Three of the closest aides of the 9th region’s former ring-leader, Belmokhtar, have recently announced their desire to forsake armed action and violence and expressed their total adhesion to the charter for peace and national reconciliation initiated by the President of the Republic Abdellaziz Bouteflika.
• Abou El-Abbès gave ample and most precious information to the Algerian security services about the secret plans and itineraries of the remaining terrorist groups under the regional command of so-called,Yahia Djoudi, and how they smuggle weapons and ammunition towards the fiefdoms of the GSPC terrorist organization in the eastern provinces of Tebessa and Boumerdes.
• It should be noted that the security forces have dealt lethal blows to those terrorist groups operating in southern regions notably in the axes of Ghardaia – Tamanrasset, Ghardaia – Laghouat and Djelfa – M’sila isolating them from their henchmen based in the north of the country.
