Hamas set to disclose Fatah spying documents to Algeria
Mohammed Nazzal

Hamas movement is ready to unveil documents on the involvement of its rival Fatah in spying on Algeria for France, spokesman for Hamas's Political Bureau in Damascus said Friday.

  •
  • “Hamas will not refuse to give these documents to Algeria if it asks for them in an official way,” Osama Abu Khalid told Echorouk on phone.
  •
  • He urged the Arab League to conduct an “Arab investigation” to identify suspects in the Palestinian intelligence and take necessary measures against them.
  •
  • “Hamas presents those documents to the Palestinian and Arab public opinion as there is no Palestinian court unanimously agreed on,” said the spokesman.
  •
  • Abu Khalid’s remarks come as Mohammed Nazzal, a member of the Political Bureau of Hamas said Thursday the movement had obtained documents which accuse Fatah of having spied on Algeria for France since the creation of the Palestinian National Authority in 1994.
