Hamidache: Ferkous! Would you face religion enemies!
Official spokesman for the Hura Sahwa (Free Awakening Movement) Abdelfetah Hamidache criticized Cheikh Ferkouss and described him as “coward” for keeping silence over secular organizations and parties.
Hamidache considered Ferkouss’ supporters as “unjustice and secular system supporters in the name of religion.”
He criticized him for washing hands of reformist Salafists and “alienation from faith brothers and rapprochement with tyrants.”
Hamidache defended the Salafist political approach, saying its supporters call on ruling regimes to follow the Islamic law and face unbelievers through the use of science in an organized methodology.
He believes that Ferkouss did not respect disagreement ethics in terms of modern developments. “You went too far and your reply was wrong. Your speech was not polite as you described political Salafist reformists as outlaws although their policy is based on superior Salafist references,” he said in a release.
“You would better use your influence to face apostasy from Islam rather than criticizing men who follow science, the truth and the Sunnah.”
This comes as the Algerian religious affairs’ media adviser Ada Fellahi told journalists Cheikh Ferkouss washed hand of Hamidache’s request to form a political party, saying “Salafists do not form parties.”
“The real Salafism rejects partisanship and as it causes discord and encourages sectarianism. Forming a political party is not in conformity with Islam’s precepts,” said Ferkouss.
