Hannachi: “JS Kabylie will strive to shut out T.P Mazembe and reach African Champions' League final for the sake of honour”

The top Manager of the Algerian first-league squad of JS Kabylie, Mohand Cherif Hannachi, held on Tuesday a press conference at the club's headquarters in the eastern city of Tizi Ouzou during which he largely dwelt on his team's current preparation for the forthcoming make-or-break second-leg semi-final qualifier versus the indomitable Congolese squad of T.P Mazembe as part of the African champions league football competition and the special hot atmosphere surrounding this decisive fixture slated for next Saturday, October 16th, at 20h 15mn (Algerian-time) in Tizi Ouzou stadium.

  •  Hannachi said that every effort was being made by the JSK management to pave the way for the smooth holding of next Saturday’s crucial match against T.P Mazembe while insisting on the prerequisite of fair-play and sportsmanship which has always been respected at home by the JS Kabylie outfit during all its 177 continental fixtures played so far versus the visiting African teams over the past 2 decades, he asserted.

  •
  • Mohand Cherif Hannachi further called on all the fervent supporters of JS Kabylie to converge massively on the Tizi Ouzou stadium next Saturday evening so as to back wholeheartedly and with no respite their favourite team until the referee’s final whistle with the aim of seeing the “Canaries” carrying the day in style.

  • This all-out popular backing in a chock-a-block Tizi Ouzou stadium will surely galvanize the JS Kabylie players to shut out their Congolese opponents with consummate skill and to reach the final of this prestigious African football contest to the delight of  the entire Algerian people, he said.
  •
  •
  • The JS Kabylie chairman pointed out that winning and qualifying for the final by eliminating title-holder T.P Mazembe next Saturday was for the entire club’s management a paramount matter of honour.
  •
  •
  • “This qualification challenge should be addressed by all and sundry,” he hammered.
  •
  •
  • This prime objective was fully explained at length by him and by the technical staff to the players during several awareness-raising encounters over the past few days, he added.
  •
  •
  • Hannachi emphasized in this connection that all the team players were fully conscious of their upcoming mission and determined to clinch the qualifying ticket for the African champions league’s final despite the enormous difficulty of the task in view of the potency of the outgoing Congolese champions who won the first-leg match at home by 3 goals to 1 in Lumumbashi a fortnight ago.
