Hanoune: Bouteflika asked me for advice on former legislative elections
Secretary General of the Workers’ Party Louisa Hanoune Friday said Algerian President Abdelaziz Bouteflika is not satisfied about the May 2012’s legislative elections and is aware that Algeria overcame a difficult crisis shortly before the last presidential elections.
Hanoune said she talked to Bouteflika about employment, justice independence and democracy.
She also said President Bouteflika was not satisfied about conditions which characterized the 2012’s legislative elections including the FLN’s lists.
“I told him people chose him and he is allowed to make daring decisions.”
Hanoune criticized candidate Ali Benflis for trying to raise anarchy in the country and cause bloodshed.
She also said the president listened to her. “I talked to him about higher education and I said it is catastrophic. The same thing for health sector. The president must not be afraid and should ask for results about each sector. Actually, he did that.”
“Bouteflika should also make brave decisions in the province of Ghardaia to identify people behind the crisis.”
“He had intentions and important commitments,” she said.
