Harry impressed by Belhadj
Nadir Belhadj
Portsmouth manager Harry Redknapp is preparing to hand recent signing Nadir Belhadj a debut for the club against Middlesbrough this weekend.

The 26-year-old Algeria international has impressed in training at Fratton Park, but may miss out if Redknapp persists with the 3-5-2 formation which worked so well in the 3-0 win at Everton last time out.
-
Redknapp said: “Belhadj will definitely be in the squad on Saturday.
-
“I’ve been very impressed with him during training the past few days and I want to get him involved as soon as I can.
-
“But I like the system we played at Everton and it worked well. The players are very comfortable in it.
-
“We’ve had to play Papa Bouba Diop out on the right for a long time to get him in the side and to be honest he hates it there. Now he can be part of a central three and really show what he can do.
-
“We can revert to 4-4-2 at any time, we’ve got the players for that, but Younes Kaboul has also come in on the right of the back three and that also suits Sol Campbell and Sylvain Distin.”
