In a telephone conversation with “Echorouk” on Monday, the newcomer to the Algeria football squad, Algerian professional player, Hassan Yebda, expressed utter satisfaction at his participation in the training camp with the “Desert Foxes”, stressing that he dreams of scoring for Algeria during the upcoming Rwanda qualifier, if he is included in the starting line-up by national team coach Rabah Saadane.

• Yebda  neither denied nor confirmed the news of his arrival to Algiers on Sunday night, preferring not to engage in such conversation.
• Our information confirms that you came to Algiers on Sunday night, what is the reason behind changing the date of your travel?
• –It does not matter when I joined my country, the important is the training camp with the Algerian national squad in preparation for next Sunday’s Algeria- Rwanda qualifier, and frankly I don’t want to delve into the question regarding the exact date of my arrival in Algeria.
•  But are you really here in Algeria?
• –  I’ll neither confirm nor deny the news, and please let’s shift to another question.
• What is your feeling as you are taking part in the training camp with the Algeria football squad in anticipation of the decisive Rwanda qualifier slated for October 11th in Blida stadium?
• –I’m very happy to play for my country Algeria, although I have already played for France, but the feeling is different because here I’m defending the mother country of my parents.
• Are you ready to make up for the absence from the line-up of  seasoned midfielder Yazid Mansouri?
• – I’m ready for anything and I wish to participate in the forthcomind match. I promise the Algerian fans to do  all my best to make them happy with a clear win over Rwanda win in order to qualify for the 2010 World Cup competion in South Africa.
• The Algerians highly appreciated your recent good performance with your English club of Portsmouth and were very pleased when you scored the winning goal for your team?
• – It is a pleasure to know that the Algerians are interested in my performance on the pitch with Portsmouth. Honestly. I wish to score the same goal in the next  world cup qualifying match versus Rwanda for my country, because in Algeria I represent an entire people and a whole country but in Portsmouth I only represent a city.
