Head of the Algerian senate hails the president’s achievements

The head of the Algerian upper house Abdelkader Bensalah Tuesday staunchly condemned the critics launched against the president in the wake of his acknowledgement of the privatization failure, and openly expressed his total support to what has been done and what is left to do shedding light on the different achievements o far.

• M. Bensalah declared that the recorded achievements in various sectors are here to prove true and nobody can deny it focussing on thousands of housing units distributed so far and dozens of universities built in different parts of the country.
• He went on enumerating the president’s achievements giving as an example the building of roads, airports and ports and other achievements.
• M. Bensalah raised the security issue declaring that this phenomenon came back to the frontline arguing that despite the authorities’ several attempts to find a peaceful solution the criminal groups are still killing innocent civilians across the country.
