The health ministerial department is currently studying a preliminary scheme for the restructuring of the health sector in Algeria in order to refurbish its run-down image in the eyes of the Algerian patients by notably stamping out the lingering bureaucratic hurdles at all levels in the country’s hospitals and health centers.

The Department of health and hospital reform in charge of studying the preliminary draft, convened broad-based meetings attended by Ministry commission members who oversaw the completion of the new health regulations to be enforced in the country’s various provinces in the presence of several doctors and health specialists, as well as representatives of patients and Union representatives in various health institutions.

In anticipation of the projected elimination of bureaucracy and red tape in the country’s university and specialized hospitals, the Health Ministry decided to provide job opportunities for dutiful agents entrusted with welcoming , and ensuring the provision of quality service for the benefit of citizens, in addition to councelling and guiding all the patients seeking treatment and other health services.
