In the province of Annaba, tens of pupils did not go to school on the first day of the school year. Instead of that, they went to the beach.
Huge fires were triggered in forests in the province of Skikda. Because of that, 14 hectares of areas and olive trees were damaged.
In the province of Constantine, air pressure and high temperature caused health troubles among old people and those who suffer chronicle diseases.
Fires also took place in the provinces of Khenchla Mila and Bordj Bouarreridj.
