Hilary Clinton’s advisor: America hurt the Muslims

Despite his heavy timetable and various commitments, Hilary Clinton’s advisor Perry Kamack dedicated 20 minutes of his time to “Echorok’s correspondent in his office at the US foreign secretary in Washington DC.

  •
  • Perry is an influential member at the Middle- East Affairs Department in the US Congress in charge of foreign affairs. He is among the staff in charge of the preparation of John Kerry’s press conferences.
  •
  • Perry Kamack seized the opportunity to talk about the dimmed image of the United States of America as perceived abroad as a result, according to him, of the previous administration’s policy.
  •
  • He insisted on the fact that the US are in the opposite of the distorted image conveyed by various media and their task at the foreign secretary consists in refurbishing this tarnished image.
  •
  • Q: Across your discourse, you admit that the US are badly perceived abroad, how can you say that’s it’s not reality?
  •
  • A: We live in the States and cherish democracy and freedom and all those who live here acknowledge this; in addition, some paid a visit to our country and changed their view about the States that’s why those who criticize us don’t know reality about our country.
  •
  • Q: What are the reasons behind this dimmed image, according to you?
  •
  • A: Good question.. !!.. Actually there are many but most importantly we have to admit that there were several military mistakes done in some countries especially what occurred and still occur in “The Great Middle-East” and I’m not pointing at a specific person as some would believe, but about a global policy knowing that the US foreign policy is an outcome of a colossal program designed by a whole staff.
  •
  • Secondly; some foreign media are taking advantage of the freedom of press in our country to slam us and distort reality, while the same media are helpless and enable to report their own realities in their counties.
  •
  • Q: What makes you feel optimistic as concerns Obama’s policy couldn’t be but electoral slogans, can he bring change under a strong congress that has a pivotal role to play in decision making?
  •
  • A: No.. Obama has full power because he’s elected president as to the intent, let me tell you that Obama’s program is based on change and his announcement to close Guantanamo is an unprecedented decision. Moreover, it is all benefit for the Americans to call for change and cleanse their image broad, that’s why they elected Obama versus Hillary who represents the past for them may be.
