French newspapers published on Monday a large number of errors and linguistic gaffes by the President François Hollande, which caused cynicism among the French public opinion, and raised controversy among the political class, as some of these reactions reflected negatively on the French diplomacy.

Right-wing newspaper “Le Figaro” reviewed the chronology of mistakes by François Hollande since he chaired the Elysee, and the beginning was the ” Heavy slide” as described by the newspaper, which was committed last Saturday, during the celebration of the Jewish Bodies’ Representative Council in France, describing Hollande’s joke as “The joke which provokes wars and conflicts between Algeria and France to get back to point zero.”

“I did not hear about Orangina issue”

The same newspaper shows lapses of Francois Hollande and asserted that during his visit to Algeria in December 2012, during a press conference that was organized on the sidelines of the visit, he was asked by one of the journalists, saying : “How would France sell the brand “Orangina” to the Japanese, if the origin of its ownership belongs to a private Algerians”, then he was surprised and smiled before saying; “I have no information on Orangina’s owner, it is a new information, and thank you for the new information that you provided to me. I will negotiate with the Japanese and I will do everything I can to fix the error…».

Le Figaro wondered how would a President who conducts a country like France to be unaware of such brand that has raised considerable controversy, and how it comes that he does not know  that the Minister of his government is negotiating with the Japanese government on this issue..?

“You will never see Sarkozy”

The same newspaper talked about Hollande’s mistake of last February, through the supervision of the opening activities of the Salon of Agriculture, where a group of kids asked him a question, “We saw you, but we never saw Nicolas Sarkozy”, Hollande responded by saying: “You will never see Sarkozy”.

“This car will never appear in France”

In another cynical position, François Hollande said – according to the same newspaper- during a visit to “Ventri” cars factory in “Monaco”, southern Algeria, where he was accompanied by Prince Albert 2, during the receiving of explanations about the launch of the first electric car, Holland said: “I do not think that this car will see the light”, referring to the luck of the French qualified workers.

Le Monde: “Hollande, You cannot laugh with everyone”

“Le Monde” newspaper said in its Monday’s edition; “Although the French President Francois Hollande apologized to Algeria, but this caused a diplomatic crisis”

Writer of the articles said; “We can laugh at everything, but not with everyone  …» Referring to Hollande who should have envisaged caution in all his statements, and he has to avoid the mistakes of protocol, because every President or political leader or diplomat in the world is subject to the training on “Etiquette” and Protocol, as he should follow certain assets in the official celebrations and cannot violate rules them, otherwise he will put himself and even his country in an embarrassing situation, and this is what happened with Hollande.

L’Express: “Hollande is known for using humor but…”

L’Express newspaper said the French President Francois Hollande is known for his love of humor, but he should have better thought before speaking, and congratulated his Interior Minister, Manuel Valls, of returning safe from Algeria, during the celebration of the seventy memory of the creation of the Representative Council of Jewish Institutions in France.

L’Express pointed out that the French mock have passed without an observation in France, but raised strong criticism amid senior Algerian officials.
