Housing: Millions of Algerians swept AADL website

AADL website noticed, since the launch of registrations for new subscribers, 20 million visitors; at a time more than 400.000 new registered joined the website.

Large number of AADL website registered in the form of sale with renting raised a lot of controversy, considering that this figure which will unbelievably rise, exceeded the size of projects that are registered even after the Housing Ministry has decided to increase the number houses under the new program to 230.000 units.

However, the reality suggests that the number of users reached the limits of 400.000 applications makes sense away from the multiple registrations, though it is the cause of the high number of users, but it’s not the only reason that obliged thousands of Algerians to register in this format, as there are several considerations which led them to approach this way in the hope of getting decent housing.

Perhaps one of the motives which led to an “unprecedented” rush for this formula which is destined for the benefit of the middle class, is the government’s abundance of the formula of subsidized promotional houses in its beginning after it compensated the social participate housing, a decision which referred dozens of files on the archive of municipalities and departments, as the figures indicate that each municipality was counting an average of 2000 request on promotional subsidized housing, and other municipalities exceeded this figure, especially those with high population density, in the capital, for example, the Municipality of Bab el Oued counted more than 3000 request in this formula, and this is applied on the municipalities of El Harrach and Bash Djerrah, and even in Hydra, the number of housing demands in this format reached over 2000 requests.
