Human rights leaders meets repentant terrorists

Chairman of the National Advisory Commission for Human Rights Promotion is expected to present a petition signed by 284 representatives of repentant terrorists to submit a number of social problems.Farouk Ksentini told Echorouk Friday he will directly transfer the petition to Algerian President Abdelaziz Boutefika to settle the “reasonable and reasonable” problem of the repentant terrorists.

“The success of the National Reconciliation endeavour depends on the settlement of the repentant terrorists’ situation,” he said.

“Authorities must support the repentant terrorists by integrating them in the social and professional life,” he added.

A delegation of terrorists who benefited from the Civil Concord, Amnesty and the National Reconciliation met lawyer Farouk Ksentini on Thursday after they had given him a letter about their social demands.

They ask for their houses which were taken from them as they are homeless now and they call for their professional integration as many of them are in charge of families.

The repentant terrorists presented the hindrances they face to get passport and travel as they are still wanted according to available information which have not been changed yet.

In their meeting with Ksentini, the repentant terrorists said they are committed to their repentance and will not resume armed acts.

They mention their reject to temptations offered by international organisations and foreign channels in return for talking about their problems to hit the National Reconciliation endeavour.

According to close sources, the repentant terrorists will remain for years and in long terms a non-negligible source for security information in terms of identities and confessions.
