Municipality of Batna, eastern Algeria, started the dismantling of an African tribe which is composed of hundreds of people who came from Niger, and settled in camps near the passengers’ terminal in Batna.

The operation was implemented by deploying eight buses in coordination with the Directorate of social Activism, civil protection and security services, as the illegal immigrants were deported to the large southern areas, before deporting them to their home countries after they deployed terribly downtown and in adjacent areas where they practice begging, and took the state as a transit region.
Same process cost  500.000 ZDZ to deport those tribes.
Previously, these illegal immigrants who displaced from Niger has opted to install their camps in the western exit of Batna, for the second year in a row, preferring to extend the period of their residence away from their country, because of trouble and poverty from which they suffer in their country Niger, and in the rest of areas that are adjacent to the capital Niamey.
In a field visit to their place of residence, Echorouk stood on their daily group activities, as they live in coordination among various families who preferred to withstand before the various troubles in the open air, although they distorted the streets because of their deployment that is programmed between neighborhoods, cities and the main roads to beg and attract citizens under the banner of “charity, charity” that their kids use in particular, in front of the doors of mosques and shops in public squares and main roads, but the positive thing is that they show modesty and decency, especially women, who are keen on wearing the muffler and perform prayers on time, as men and youths from Niger mark their presence regularly at mosques, which is a dual action that reflects their eagerness to perform their religious duty and notice Algerian citizens to show solidarity with them, at the time their camps are characterized by collective action and coordination to cook food and wash clothes in a simple atmosphere, where you can feel a lot of brotherhood.
According to some Algerian citizens, they give donations and humanity aid during the presence of those illegal immigrants in Batna, eastern Algeria, which reflects the wave of sympathy that they received, while hoping that the local authorities will observe their condition and provide a secure place where they can reside, or allocate special houses or old institutions where they can live, as they attributed the cause of their stay in the Algerian territory to fighting for survival, and stay away as much as possible from wars and extreme poverty, which they suffered in their country.
It seems that the lifetime of the presence of Niger illegal immigrants in Batna and other Algerian cities allowed them to provide a significant amount of money, and the evidenced is their adaptation to their daily requirements and the acquisition of foods that are cooked in their place of residence, in accordance with the groups where mutual understanding and adaptation to the current stage, as most of them have mobile phones to enable them to communicate with their relatives and friends, and are also keen to respect the customs and traditions like encourage early marriage, which procedures are demarcated by imams in Niger or in the Algerian southern cities, such as Tamenrasset, Ouergla and Tougourt.
