Hypertension threatens Algerian society

The chairman of the Algerian Association for Hypertensive Patients, the Professor Ben Khedda Salim revealed that this chronic disease threatens 35% of the gross Algerian population.

  • He added that the phenomenon is taking alarming proportions in Algeria whose repercussions are disastrous for the society as it leads to blindness, heart attacks and cerebral ones.
