I have no problem with FAF’s president, disagreement was with doctor, says Algeria goalkeeper Chaouchi

Most controversial goalkeeper in Algeria Faouzi Chaouchi refused to comment about the reconciliation between the president of the Algerian Football Federation (FAF) Mohamed Raouraoua and his Egyptian counterpart Samir Zaher. “I don’t have the right to comment about what the FAF’s president does,” he told Echorouk in an interview.

  Much news say you will return to the national team soon. What may you say about that?
  

  The call in will be official and I will sacrifice anything just to come back to the national team. 
  

  Fans did not understand why it takes a so long time to call you in to the national team?

  Believe me. I did not have any problem with the FAF’s administration neither with Raouraoua, the technical staff nor with Saadane. There was a disagreement with the team’s doctor on the match against England. I was injured and I wanted to play.

  Was there any reconciliation between you and the doctor?

  What happened does not need any reconciliation but I am not against that.

  So, you did not have any problem with national coach Rabeh Saadane.

  There was no problem with him.

  Have you received official offers from clubs abroad?

  Many clubs from France and the Gulf contacted me. I prefer Europe.

  Gulf’s clubs which contacted you are from Saudi Arabia or Qatar?

  What may you say about the anniversary of Oum Dermane match against Egypt?

  Oum Dermane is my best memories. It will remain a historic match. I promise fans to make more achievements if I come back to the national team.

  Maybe it is because I am modest with people whatever the conditions are.

  Chaouchi is quiet outside the pitch but has a bad temper inside. Why is this contradiction?

  I have a bad temper because I like winning.

  This bad temper cause you many troubles?

  That’s true. I promise every one to treat this question soon. I will try to be quiet as much as possible in the pitch provided that I don’t loose.

  What do you think about the new national team coached by Abdelhak Benchikha?

  They are good.

  How do you expect the match between Algeria and Morocco as part of 2012 CAN qualifiers?

  I think all the matches are difficult in qualifiers and competitions. We should play according to this logic. We should not divide our opponents into easy and difficult teams. We know that we had problems because we underestimate some opponents. 
  

  What is missing in the team to qualify to the African and World Cups?

  The important thing is to play with determination and will power. If Algerian players are resolved, they win and do their best
