Inclusive Security Measures to Secure Ports, Airports

Major General Abdelghani Hamel, ordered police personnel on the borders to tighten the procedures of inspection of baggage with maximum vigilance at the level of scaner detectors, and to tighten the security zone around the aircrafts and ships, on the other hand the General Directorate of the National Security has taken security measures and facilitation ‭at the airports, ports and the land border centers.

‬The General Manager of the National Security, and First Dean of the police Lazrak Al Ghali; “In the context of addressing any potential attacks, the border police have taken security measures and facilitation at airports, seaports and land borders, and this after discussions and meetings at the level of the local committees of ‭security services in coordination with customs’ commissions‭.

‬As for the Directorate of Border Police, Mr. Hamel gave instructions to facilitate the movement of cars from the point of the city into the ports and airports, taking the security aspect into account with the opening of an office of reception, queries, guidance and assistance to travelers, especially the police procedures, and supporting the checkpoints of police‭ ‬to gain more time, without negelcting the rules of respect and good ‭treatment during the‬ reception of travelers, working in coordination with the local‬ security services‭. ‬
