Interior Minister: Investigations are still ongoing to determine involved “foreign hands” in Algeria riots

Algerian Interior Minister Nourreddine Yazid Zerhouni confirmed within Boumerdes governor’s inauguration that investigations in Berriane’s events assured the presence of foreign bodies.

• According to him, they were behind the crisis that fired the region where security forces arrested a group of persons for distributing inflammatory leaflets in the streets and via internet. They were working on creating violence and destruction. A person who owned a computer in communication with foreign bodies was also arrested.  The suspect provided them with all details and information. Investigations are still ongoing to determine the reality and identity of these bodies.
