International Bailiffs’ Conference in Algiers next February
The Algerian capital Algiers will be the venue in February 2009 of an international conference bringing together a host of legal experts from European, African and Arab countries under the guidance of the world legal Bailiffs’ Union.

The holding of this major conference, which will be devoted essentially to the role and duties of the bailiffs in the smooth implementation of judicial rulings and decisions, was decided on the sidelines of a Europe –Africa meeting held earlier this month in Libreville – Gabon.

It should be noted that Algeria is expected to apply for full membership of the executive body of the world bailiffs’ Union ahead of the Union’s International Congress slated to take place in Marseille, France in early September 2009.
