Jordan King arrives to Algeria

King Abdullah of Jordan arrived Monday morning to Algeria on a working visit as part of an official tour to include the US and the UK.

• Jordan’s king, accompanied by an important delegation of ministers and advisors was received by Algerian President Abdelaziz Bouteflika at the international airport of Algiers Houari Boumediene.
• President Bouteflika and King Abdullah are expected to hold bilateral talks and discuss means to boost cooperation.
• Cooperation between Algeria and Jordan includes several sectors of activity mainly health and pharmaceuticals. The Jordanian pharmaceutical group Hikma is the leading Jordanian investor in Algeria.
•  Other sectors of activity are expected to be explored by investors and economic operators of the two countries during the visit.
