JSkabylie General Manager ousts Al Ahly spies from the Military Academy stadium

The General Manager of the Algerian 1st division club JS Kabylie, Moh Cherif Hennachi was utterly upset when he noticed the presence of the members, designated by Al Ahly to assist the Algerian delegation, on the Military Academy stadium to follow the Algerian club’s training session.

• M Hannachi vented his anger on the security elements when they permitted the entrance to strangers while only media professionals are allowed to. He has noticed that the two strangers were noting the least details of the club’s training exercises.

• He has called on the security services to evacuate them out immediately, expressing his utmost shock at the Egyptian club’s dishonest scheme to spy on the Algerian club, while they were supposed to help JS Kabylie during their stay in Cairo.

• The spies were former Ahly players

• The two members who entered the stadium were former players at Al Ahly club and are now holding positions in one of the club’s technical committees. They were taking notes on slips of papers of the Algerian players’ one by one before being detected by the general manager Hennachi during his inspection visit around the stadium.

• In his declaration at the end of the training session, the club’s coach Alain Geiger has indicated that he wouldn’t mind revealing his tactical scheme since the match will be played on details and victory goes to the best on the pitch.

• For his part Moh Cherif Hannachi has declared that he was used to these types of base practices especially that he took part to nearly 75 matches at the African competition as the manager of the club since the beginning of the 1990s.

• He went on saying “ what happened is a shame, especially that there is a mutual confidence between us and Al Ahly, we wanted to prove the Egyptians that we were not fools.”
