Judo Grand Slam Paris 2011: Algerian Soraya Haddad snatches silver (-52kg)

PARIS (France)- Algerian judoka Soraya Haddad claimed Sunday the silver medal in the category of -52 kg at Paris tournament, as part of the International Judo Federation Grand Slam.

After successful rounds against Korea’ Seo Ha Na, Turkey’ Samat Aynur, Belgium’s Heylen Ilse and Spain’s Ana Carrascosa, Haddad was defeated in the final by Mongolian Bundmaa Munkhbaatar.

For her part the other Algerian judoka in -52kg was eliminated after her defeat against Germany’s Kraeh Maceen.
