- Echourok: Ca we know the reasons of your absence during the last match versus Wolfsburg?
- Matmour: I didn’t take part to the match because I had a flu… After thorough medical tests on samples of my blood, the medical staff has decided to count me out in order not to contaminate my teammates.. Now I have fully recovered and took part to yesterday’s training session.
- Echourok: How do you evaluate your form after recovering from your injury?
- Matmour: Actually, this season is completely different from the previous ones especially that I made an excellent pre-season preparation I can say” I feel comfortable” and will do my best to confirm my good form in the upcoming matches.
- Echourok: But your club is struggling to secure a berth in the first league?
- Matmour: It’s true that we are not in a comfortable position in the ranking , but this doesn’t mean that we have given up and we will keep on struggling to stay in the first league despite though the task is very hard.
- Echourok: Are you in touch with the national coach Abdelhak Benchikha?
- Matmour: I didn’t talk to him lastly.. but we are in touch regularly and I’m aware that he is supervising my performances similarly for my teammates in order to evaluate our level pending the upcoming match versus Morocco. This is a good thing and will push us to work harder.
- Echourok: Does it mean that you will be among the line up that will play versus Morocco?
- Matmour: Logically yes, because I’m fit for the match that I’m eager to play, but I didn’t receive any call yet; neither my club did.
- Echourok: Matmour has scored versus Egypt in Blida, does it mean that he will do the same against Morocco?
- Matmour: sincerely … I’m looking forward to it..
- Echourok: The match is due in Annaba stadium, what do you think knowing that you have the habit to play in Blida?
- Matmour: Actually, I don’t know the stadium but I received a good feedback bout it… Since Benchikha and the FAF managers have chosen this stadium , it means that it is fit to host such a big event, as we are concerned, we will do our best to win and augment our chances in the qualifiers.
