At least two players will miss the World Cup tournament in South Africa for technical and physical reasons, medical sources have revealed to Echourok.

Although the names of these two players haven’t been disclosed, but all it seems that both Mourad Megheni and Hamer Bouaaza will most likely be counted out on account of their injuries that prevent them to resume competition for a while.

The list of the missing players is set to expand because of the different injuries, as five others will certainly be absent for a long period putting the head coach Rabah Saadane in a difficult situation and forcing him to reconsider his plans.
-
-
Mourad Meghenni, who stopped the competition since a long time now, is following an intensive treatment and is now moving to another phase as part of his rehabilitation, but the process could be insufficient for a rapid return to the competition and time is running out.

For his part, Hamer Bouaaza has been thoroughly examined by the national squad doctor in Germany who came up with conclusion that the player is not fit for playing the world cup especially that he didn’t take part to any match with his British club Blackpool since his return from the African Cup of Nations competition.

Portsmouth’s Hacen Yebda and Glasgow Rangers’ Madjid Bougherra are among the players who were affected by injuries forcing the first one to be absent for more than a month while the second for at lest three weeks.
-
-
The technical staff is rather preoccupied by the case of Hacen Yebda, whose injury’s nature has not been known yet, and will certainly be out of the pitches for more than two months and maybe

Counted out of the world cup tournament in case where he has to undergo a surgery but the player has reassured the technical staff vowing that he will be ready next month.

By contrast, Madjid Bougherra’s injury is not that serious, his absence from the competition will rather help him recover his form after his tremendous efforts with the “Greens”. The player will miss the final of the Scottish cup slated for March 23, versus Dundee United after missing the first match against the same club the day before yesterday that ended with a draw 3-3.
