Khaled Lemmouchia to Echorouk: “My injury is not dangerous and I will play Luxemburg matchâ€
Algerian midfielder Khaled Lemmouchia said his injury at the level of leg is not dangerous and will not deprive him from playing the upcoming friendly match against Luxemburg.
Lemmouchia told Echorouk on Monday that the Algeria team’s medical staff advised Benchikha not to risk through including him in order to avoid aggravating the injury before traveling to Luxemburg on Friday.
“I was slightly injured at the level of leg during the training session last Sunday. I did not play the match against USMA to avoid any bad surprise which would deprive me from playing Luxemburg match”.
Echorouk asked Lemmouchia about the friendly match between Tunisia and Algeria and Africa Cup of Locals on February 2011, he said that he does not know whether he is part of the principal or local team.
“First of all, we have a second friendly match against Luxemburg next January. We have more than two months for the Africa Cup of Locals in Sudan and the friendly match against Tunisia. Many changes in the team would occur, and it is not necessary to keep the same squad. I wish to show a good performance during Luxemburg match with the Desert Warriors in order to honor Algeria’s team”, he added.
