Landslide kills six in Algeria
Six members of the same family were killed Tuesday in a landslide that followed heavy rains in the province of Jijel (east of Algeria), Algeria News Agency (APS) reported citing the Civil Protection Department.

A woman and her five children (4 boys and a girl) were killed as their house was hit by landslide due to day-long heavy rains, said APS.

Earlier in October, floods killed more than 40 people and injured 86 in the Algerian oasis town of Ghardaia.
