Large crowd at the airport to welcome the Algerian football players
Echourok’s sports service has received numerous calls from the Algerian football team’s fans who asked for the arrival times of the professionals ahead of the friendly match between Algeria and the Serbian side slated for March 3.

Hose who got in touch with the newspaper have indicated that they will flock to Algiers International Airport to welcome the first group that comprises Karim Mamour, Rafik Djebbour, Amer chadli, Hassen Yabda Djamel Abdoun, Yazid Mansouri and nadir Belhadj.

The players will face tremendous difficulties to leave the airport on account of the presence of a large crowd upon their arrival especially ladies.

Stiffened security measures at the airport

The Algerian Football Federation initial plan to get the players out through the VIP lounge was spoiled by the fact that they will arrive on different flights. Security measures are due to be stiffened to facilitate their exit. The players will be transported on the Federation’s cars escorted by the security services to avoid contact with the fans.

Scores of fans are due to move to the airport tomorrow to reserve a hearty welcome to the second group that includes Bougherra, Ziani, Antar Yahia and the long awaited Mehdi Lahcen who will play for the first time to the Algeria squad.

Algerian delegation to dwell in a military hotel

The Algerian players are set to prepare their match in a luxurious military located in Algiers’ vicinity in order to avoid the fans ‘pressure and firm orders have been issued to forbid fans to approach the hotel or the pitch where the players are set to prepare their match.

Relatives and foreign media denied access

As opposed to the past where the players’ relatives were allowed access to the military complex, this time around nobody is allowed to approach the players including the relatives. Foreign and Algerian media professionals will find tremendous difficulties to interview the players except with a special derogation from the president of the Algerian football Federation Mohammed Raouraoua.

Light training session today

The Algerian head coach Rabah Saadane has scheduled a light training session today at 6 pm with the presence of the first group of professionals in addition to the local ones. The second session will take place at the 5 of July main pitch where the group will be completed by the arrival of the other players.
