Leader of a car smuggling gang west of Algeria wanted by Interpol

Echorouk sources said that a list of victims of an international cell specialized in smuggling cars stolen from Europe and sell them with forged documents in Algeria which was arrested by security cervices on Oran (West of Algeria), has expanded to include a number of citizens living in different Algerian localities. They bought luxurious cars with forged documents from the chief of this cell who is a former official in the army still wanted by the International Police “Interpol”.

 Security services of Oran (west of Algeria), arrested this international cell last year, based on the correspondence by the international police “Interpol”, that many citizens in different European countries lost their luxurious cars which were smuggled to Morocco then to Algeria via the land borders and were sold with forged documents in Oran. A Belgian woman was one of the victims as she lost her “BMW” due to theft.

 

Following these dangerous information, security services launched intensive investigations which resulted in booking a number of cars from various “brands”.
