Freedom of running and opening Presidential Terms is good, and the Labor Party would not support any candidate in the opposition in the coming elections, Louisa Hanoune said during a press conference following the closure of works of the Seventh Conference of the Labor Party.

“I agree with the freedom of running and opening Presidential Terms, and the opposition and bipolarity is dangerous on the stability of our country.

“Our party is against limiting the terms, because it confiscates the sovereignty of peoples. President Bouteflika has the right to run for the fourth term, but the people have the right to choose his term after real debate and not only with numbers. President Bouteflika has succeeded only in the restoration of peace, and he was not alone in order to achieve this, at a time when the political and electoral reforms failed miserably.”

“I renewed confirmation that the new leadership will determine later its position of the presidential elections, whether  through a candidate or by taking another position, and this in view of the facts and developments that will occur on the national scene. the members insisted on her nomination during the Seventh Conference works”.

Louisa Hanoune looked very disturbed due to the large number of national media which attended the Seventh Conference of the works of her party, and asserted; “I did not run for the position of Secretary-General, but the members did, and the 7th Conference’s majority chose me”.

Hanoune defended furiously for her leadership of the Labor Party, noting that the national media has been misled by wrong information that the Secretary General has left itself at the head of the Secretariat of the Party, for the seventh time in a row, pointing out that this term is only a third term without counting the extraordinary congress of the Year 2006, on the grounds that the leadership was previously assumed by the late Moustafa Ben Mouhammad from 1990 up to 2003, and made it clear that what happened at the conference was a coup against her.
