Algerian Minister of Culture Khalida Toumi had told Echorouk that the singer Macias is welcomed in Algeria if he abandoned “Zionism” pointing out that the Algerians rejection to his visit with Sarkozy was due to his statements supporting the Zionist ideology and encouraging the Israeli aggression on the Palestinian people and particularly on Ghaza’s population.
