Managers deferred before justice for corruption

Managers deferred before justice for corruption

Security services have opened an inquiry over illegal practices that involved employees at the National Fund of Insurance against Joblessness in the provinces of Algiers, Blida and others who promised jobless people to proceed with their applications in exchange for money.

Meanwhile, the fund’s general manager has revealed to Echourouk that groups of inspectors were set up to monitor the applicants’ dossiers and assist their projects.

The affair broke out in the wake of several complaints sent to the fund’s general manager in which they accused some managers of gross irregularities. Those pseudo managers draw benefit from the jobless distress to take money out of them in exchange for accepting their applicants.

The fund’s general manager Taleb Ahmed Chawki called on the jobless people through Echourouk to be vigilant and not fall in the trap of these opportunists, noting that a large number if inspectors have been dispatched on the terrain to monitor the work of all the managers in charge of this operation across the country.
