Marketing of espionage and sabotage systems behind 70% of cyber criminality

70% of the cyber crimes occur as a result of the lack of the necessary precautions to secure the personal computers and information system of the Algerian institutions, making it vulnerable to the hackers, Dr. Malek Si Mohamed, Chairman of the Office at the National Economic and Social Council say.  

• “An accurate study is prepared by council in collaboration with the World Bank Institute to diagnosis the situation of the information security in Algeria, particularly following the discovery of espionage and sabotage systems that are incorporated and pre-programmed in the computers before marketing.

• “Blackberries are the most vulnerable to sabotage and espionage systems, because these devices work according to accurate and complex information technologies, allowing integration of espionage and sabotage systems programmed before marketing”, Dr. Kamal Adi, director of the informatics researches at the university of Canada says.
