Medea governor and head of state's council survive a terrorist ambush

A car belonging to the urban security of Beni Slimane municipality, carrying five police agents, was subject to a terrorist attack by a number of armed men at the level of the route linking the municipalities of Sidi Rabie and Mezghanna, near a water lake.
A traditional made bomb was remote controlled aiming to kill the security men, as the terrorist attack caused the death of an agent and another was dangerously wounded.
According to Echorouk sources, those security agents were heading to the city of Tabkat located at the far east of Medea, in order to escort a delegation from the wilaya including the governor and the head of the local council, in order to celebrate the annual memory of the late Abdelkader Tidjani.
Terrorists exploded two other bombs to delay the intervention of the elements of the national popular army without losses after their intervention when they heard gun shots.
Same sources said the terrorist attack could be a planned criminal attack against the governor and hard of council, who were obliged to delay the timing of movement to Tablat, which melted the terrorists’ accounts and pushed them to attack the security agents who were charged to secure the official mission of the wilaya.
