Messaitfa at Emergy Forum: Raising demand starts from upgrading factors of benefits for the consumer
Secretary of State to the PM in Charge of Prospective and Statistics, Bachir Messaitfa, said in his intervention on Tuesday, at the 11th Forum, that was organised by Emergy Consulting office in Sheraton Hotel Algiers, on the topic “National Production-National Consumption”, that his Ministerial sector’s working plan121, contains a smart operation that aims to transfer the national economy to a sustainable equilibrium situation in 2019, a status of evolution in 2030 and an overall development in 2050.
Messaitfa added; “Operations related to factors of competitiveness for the national productive insertion, factors economic diversity, administration and management systems for the institution, are among the operations which would come up with practical recommendations that concern the forum’s subject, which is promoting the national product but through promoting the productive institution’s performance”.
Messaitfa addressed in his speech 10 axes related to:
First: Factors of benefit fir the national consumer and profitability factors for the institution, as he called for defining the controlled variables to exploit them in boosting the demand and offer on the national product.
Second: The impact of domestic demand’s trends on promoting the production and marketing the domestic product.
Third: Domestic consumption pattern that should be taken into consideration when designing the product that is directed to the Algerian consumer, to choose the appropriate technology for this type of consumption.
Fourth: Follow the prospective style and strategic vigilance in determining the competitive factors of the national institutions.
Fifth: Provision of adequate statistical information for the diagnosis of the competitive institution and the way to organise it.
Sixth: The development of competitive factors and development of markets to put them in the service of the national institution.
Seventh: Development of a database for restrictions that face the development of the institution in the future to guarantee the available opportunities to avoid the potential risks.
Eighth: Development of a database for the preferences of the Algerian consumer, so as the producing institution can ensure a part of the domestic market in the future.
Ninth: Deepening the culture of consultation and listening to all actors in the economic process including economists, representatives of the consumer society, professional organisations, scientific and media society in order to design the most affective decisions on the scale of public policies.
