Migrants bring 20,000 cars to Algeria
A total of 20,568 cars have entered Algeria through Algiers port since May 1st, according to sources from customs.

More than 100,000 passengers came by boat including 58,092 arrived to Algiers, said the same sources.

All items brought by migrant comers to their homeland were counted while worn out clothes, toys and some medicines took the lion’s share.

The same sources said most of passengers who came on boat brought money in Euro to be converted into Algerian dinars in the black market.

A report indicates that 3,550 cars entered while 555 others left Algiers port.

The number of Algerian migrants who came through Algiers port is estimated at 58,290. Of them, 18,000 left the country.

According to the same sources, most of migrants brought worn out clothes, toys, and some medicines, electronic appliances including mobile phones or computers. No branch was reported such as bringing prohibited products.
