Military forces target terrorists in western Algeria

Algeria's National Popular Army is carrying out a large-scale combing operation in the region of Tlemcen ( west of Algeria) to drive members of the terrorist organization “Salafit Call Protectors” out of ambush.

• This group led by Mohammed Belbachir, known as “Abu Idriss”  is constituted of 16 elements divided into subgroups of 5 terrorists each scattered across various regions to facilitate movement.
• According to sources, military forces set an ambush on Wednesday night and surrounded five elements while a terrorist was eliminated in the same operation.
