Minister of Education pledges wage-hikes to the sector employees

Ministry of Education is to install a joint commission to be in charge of conducting proposals relating to hiking wages for the sector employees and review the gaps in their status law, Minister Aboubakr Benbouzid, said on Monday.

• The work-meeting of Benbouzid with representatives of education sector trade unions discussed pending issues claimed by the unions.
• In this regard, the minister pledged to transform tied cottage into employees’ property. However, the unions urged the ministry to speed up housing projects destined for the sector employees.
•  Furthermore, Benbouzid said he notified education departments countrywide to settle financial and administrative pending problems of employees.
