Minister of Solidarity: Algerian Diplomat Hassani is not guilty
The case of the the Algerian diplomat, Mohamed Ziane Hassani, is a “small thorn†in the Algerian relations with France, after his arrest in France. French justice found that he was not guilty after DNA analysis, said the Algerian Minister of Solidarity, Djamel Oueld Abbas.

During his meeting with Jean Noel Gireny, the French socialist deputy who officially visited Algeria, Djamel Oueld Abas said, “The case of the Algerian diplomat arrest is over after DNA analysis proved that he is not involved in the murder of Ali Msili”.

Ali Msili 47 year-old was an Algerian refugee in France since 1965, and was shot dead in the 7th April 1987 in Paris. The French authorities accused diplomat Ziane Hassani of killing Ali Msili and arrested him in December 2007, then he was subjected to judicial control since last 14th August. He is working in the foreign Ministry.
