Ministry of Finance to launch investigation before the end of 2009

The Ministry of Finance will launch investigation in order to determine sources of tax fraud and evasion before the end of 2009, Minister of Finance, Karim Djoudi said.  

• “Ministry of Finance is preparing plan for the implementation of legislative bills and establishment of a special teams in order to launch tax inspections. We hope they will start working before the end of 2009”, he added.

• These measures enter in the side lines of the new Finance Law 2009. We will provide this interest, belonging to the General Directorate of Taxation, with regional branches on the national level in order to ensure follow-up work in all the Algerian regions”.
