Missing sailor's body recovered after days of search

After several days of intensive searches carried out by the elements of the civil protection backed by citizens and fishermen, the body of the missing sailor in the stranded vessel and the towing- boat in the beach of Skikda ( East of Algeria) , was finally recovered.

After several days of intensive searches carried out by the elements of the civil protection backed by citizens and fishermen, the body of the missing sailor in the stranded vessel and the towing- boat in the beach of Skikda ( East of Algeria) , was finally recovered.

Found in a extreme status of deterioration, the body was evacuated to the mortuary for identification to be buried afterwards.

The late Abdelaziz Nabil, was a crew member of the towing- boat “Skikda” that took part in the rescue operation of the stranded Greek vessel “Sohia” during the latest storms that hit Skikda’s beaches two weeks ago.

The rescue operation of both the vessel “Sophia” and the towing –boat “Skikda” is reaching its final count down.
