Mokri’s candidacy to the Presidential Elections disturbs MSP’s Shura Council

Insistence of MSP leader Abderraazzak Mokri to run for the presidential elections, did not stop the opponents to the decision.

Shura Council decider Hamdadouche Nacer have expressed his reservations on talking about the Presidential Elections, claiming the lack of the electoral conditions of competition and the continuation of the system of fraud, calling upon the head of the movement to consult the basis and the Shura Council on elections.

In the clarifications that were issued by the decision of MSP Shura Council, following Mokri’s announcement to run for the presidential elections, he asserted the impossibility of going on the subject of the presidential elections “as long as there is lack of conditions of real electoral competition, and equal opportunities between the candidates, and the chronic disease of the system of elections through fraud and the systematic closing.

“Recent Government Amendment, following the appointment of the Justice Minister and Chairman of the Constitutional Council of Bouteflika’s same term, is directly the party concerned by the presidential elections”, Mokri added.

Mokri thinks that the decision of the Shura Council that all options remain open , including the boycott of the elections to challenge their legitimacy If they will be organized with the same mechanisms and previous methods, as opposed to the view of the head of the movement, who did not show any reservation when announcing candidacy for future polls.

“This position does not mean that the movement is not interested in the elections, considering it one of the largest political parties, and has spread the organizational spread and political and electoral experiences.
