The latest one was the dredger oil incident in Kassi Twil region belonging to oil fields in Hassi Massaoud (south of Algeria) where two people died and a man reported missing in addition to more than 10 injured workers with dangerous degrees.
• Sources confirmed to Echorouk that the human factor is the fatal accidents’ main cause by 80 percent, as recorded annually approximately 40 incidents in different refineries and pumping units of the same company, which intended to recycle more than 120 thousand workers in all disciplines in 2014.

Investigations led by authorities revealed the killing of 13 insured workers last year, and 35 others died in only 2005, which bring the alert and increase vigilance and caution in applying the security and prevention instructions
• The new scheme in coordination with foreign executives since aims at teaching workers how to maintain Sonatrach’s properties. It is described as the national economy lifeline. The plan is also meant to encourage them to implement necessary measures and instructions to avoid danger. There is also an attempt to change old mentalities.
