Moroccan illegal immigrants in Algeria send secret reports to their countries

Last estimates show that the quantity of smuggled petrol surpassed 800 thousand liters last year and the 260 Moroccan smugglers were arrested since the beginning of the year, whereas 800 were busted last year.
Despite closing of the frontiers between the two countries, the movements of the people have never stopped since years. The activities hiked instead in the axis known” Tarik Al Oahda” (Union Road) which enables a Moroccan to reach the Algerian soil in a hour time.
More than 20 Moroccan citizens quit their home country to settle in Algeria to improve their social conditions and flee the royal regime.
On the contrary, other sources link this immigration phenomenon to political reasons, in a sense that the Moroccan authorities are sending these so called “illegal immigrants” in order to send secret reports on the economic and most importantly security matters, which makes of the relation between the smugglers and terrorism one of their biggest challenges.
It is worth mentioning these allegations didn’t reach at the diplomatic level between both countries.
