Moroccan soldier arrested in Algeria

The Gendarmerie forces have recently arrested 48 Moroccans including a soldier from the Moroccan Royal Army in Ain Timouchent (west of Algiers).

Commander of the Provincial Gendarmerie said the fugitive Moroccan soldier was arrested with illegal migrants from his country.

Investigations showed that he escaped from the Royal Army before the end of service. Because of that, he had been put in jail with 48 other Moroccans, according to the same source.

They all have been sentenced to 15 days to 1 month in prison. They are expected to be immediately expulsed after the end of their time in prison.
