Moroccans smuggling network dismantled in Algeria

Algerian National Gendarmerie forces Tuesday dismantled a network of smuggling Moroccans to Algeria to work in construction workshops and plaster carving.

• The smugglers were three Algerians caught in Ain Timouchent province (west of Algeria). They were accompanying five Moroccans.
• The arrest took place after the Gendarmerie National forces had set up a check point and stopped two cars carrying the suspects.
• When questioned, the Algerian smugglers admitted they were in charge of smuggling Moroccans to work in plaster carving for villas owners in Algiers.
