“Morocco’s Mohamed VI, Israel’shidden partner who treats his people as prisoners in custody”

US media outlets described the visit by Moroccan King, Mohamed VI to Washington, last November as the worst ever and as a courtesy visit, no more, no less.

In this connection, the US News Magazine “Foreign Policy” said in its latest edition that “the Moroccan Monarch, a traditional US ally and the hidden partner of the State of Israel, who considers himself as the Commander of the faithful and a descendant of holy Prophet Mohamed (God’s Peace and Blessings Be Upon Him), treats his people as a whole as a prisoner in detention while the Americans stand idly by and look the other way in a very complacent attitude”.

Mohamed VI’s visit last November to Washington backfired in terms of political spin-offs and brought nothing tangible for the benefit of the Moroccan side as President Barack Obama covertly sees the Moroccan King as not such much of a reliable partner of the United States, the US magazine underscored.

The vexed Western Sahara file, it added, cast agloom over the Moroccan King’s Washington visit because of the repeated prevarication maneuvers and the manifold hurdles set by the Moroccan regime to undermine United Nations’ efforts for the organization of a much-delayed self- determination referendum in Western Sahara to test the will of the Saharawi people in conformity with relevant UN resolutions and international legality.
