Morsi announces end of the Zionist aggression on Gaza
Egyptian President Mohamed Morsi announced on Tuesday the end of “Israeli aggression”, and expected to reach a truce within hours, as quoted by the Middle East News Agency.
International efforts have been made to urge Egypt to intervene to stop the violence in Gaza, where Israel launched since last Wednesday intensive air strikes, killing 116 Palestinians and wounding nearly 920 civilians, while three Israelis were killed in a rocket fired from the Gaza Strip into Israel.
Israel decided to temporarily postpone the ground war against the Gaza Strip, to give the opportunity for diplomatic efforts after the meeting of Israeli security cabinet on Monday night.
After the failure of the Israeli army in achieving its objectives on the first day of the Israeli aggression, by achieving deterrence policy and securing towns bordering Gaza, it resorted to the policy of bombing houses of the resistance leaders, causing the largest number of victims in their ranks, especially children and women as a pressure on the resistance to accept the truce, as it is wished by Benjamin Netanyahu, who was surprised by the reaction and force of the resistance, which sent its missiles to Tel Aviv and Jerusalem for the first time since the beginning of the Arab-Israeli conflict.
More than twenty houses were bombed completely in different parts of Gaza, killing entire families, like the family Dalou in the center of Gaza City, and the family of Hijazi northern Gaza Strip, while other families survived certain death thanks to divine providence, like the family of Salah northern Gaza Strip, and injured some others, and some of them did not get any harm due to evacuating the house, like the family of Aissa in the central of Gaza Strip and Sinwar family in Khan Younis.
The raid that targeted family of Dalou in al-Nasser neighborhood in Gaza City was most painful raid for those who watched television and saw scenes of women and children who died in the raid, who were eleven people, while the family of Hijazi northern Gaza Strip, lost four members, two kids and their parents.
